How to Change Turn Signal Blink Patterns on a Smart Flasher
If you have installed a switchless Auto Cut-Off Smart Indicator Flasher on your motorcycle, you now have access to multiple hazard light patterns (police strobe, alternate flash, etc.) for riding in fog or rain. Best of all, you don’t need a cheap external toggle switch. Here is how to control it using your stock indicator controls.
Step 1: Turning on the Hazard Mode
Turn your bike’s ignition switch to “ON”. To turn the hazard lights on, quickly toggle your stock indicator switch Left then Right (or Right then Left) and return it to the center. All four indicators will begin blinking simultaneously.
Step 2: Cycling Through Flashing Patterns
With the hazard mode currently active, quickly toggle the indicator switch Left-Right-Left and press the center cancel button. The module’s built-in microchip will immediately switch the pattern (e.g., from slow flash to police strobe). Repeat this to cycle through all available patterns.
Step 3: Deactivating Hazard Mode
To turn off the hazard lights, simply push the indicator switch to the center (cancel position). The flasher will return to its standard indicator mode.
